Data Banking and Management mandated by Republic Act 7160, Local Government Code of 1991, Section 488, Paragraph b3. Its objective is to establish and maintain an updated population Data Bank for program operations, development planning and an educational program to ensure people’s participation.

Our Provision of Population and Population-Related Data service delivers comprehensive, high-quality, and verified demographic insights to power public policy, infrastructure development, market research, and academic studies.

We consolidate the demographics collected by the BSPOs to create a publication regarding population and population-related data, which we are provide to LGU and barangay to serve as a basis for planning in their respective jurisdiction or communities and we provide to our partner agencies, researchers and other stakeholders as per request to gap between complex raw statistics and actionable insights.

Under our Data Banking Management Program, the practice of data board making every year brings the theme "Data Natun, Istorya Natun" to life by transforming raw demographic repositories into the living story of our community. Instead of leaving crucial civic statistics buried in static databases or filing systems, our data banking initiative brings this vital information to the forefront through color-coded population pyramids, regional maps, and structured tracking grids. This approach is highly important because it bridges the gap between secure data storage and public utilization, establishing a visible "single source of truth." By converting raw numbers into visual narratives, our program empowers local planners to streamline resource allocation and track welfare goals accurately, while giving visiting citizens an immediate, transparent understanding of the demographic landscape we share

Compendium
Compendium – is the first data banking innovation from 2022. Keeping basic population profiles and demographic events inside a Big Book.
Website
Website – is the 2nd data banking innovation, launched in 2023. This allows the users to access basic population profiles with easy way anywhere.
QGIS
QGIS- Quantum Geographic Information System. A geo tagging. The 3rd innovation, established in 2024 in collaboration with the MDRRMO.
POP HUB
POP HUB- a 4th innovation in data Banking, launched in 2024. A statistical Data Board library
Data is the biggest buzzword that allows organizations to establish baseline and goals to keep moving forward. The Zarraga Population Office established Data Banking since 2018 and updated every year. Records in soft and hard copy of Municipal and Barangay Basic Population Profile and Pyramid, Demographic Events, Spot Map, Population Rundown, Masterlist of Household Heads, Masterlist of Households Members, Masterlist of youth, Masterlist of Women of Reproductive Age (WRA) and Married Couples of Reproductive Age (MCRA’s), Brgy. History, Brgy. Socio Economic Profile, List of Brgy. Officials and other data. The Data collected and processed was utilized by every department in the municipality. There are other agencies that requests data in the population office.

A key innovation behind this achievements, was the compilation of the Zarraga Municipal Population Profile and demographic data into an organized accessible tool for local planning, policy-making and emergency response across the entire municipality.

Recognized for its excellence in data management, the Zarraga PPO won first place in the Province of Iloilo’s Best Managed Population Data Bank Search for 3-consecutive years (2002-2024), ultimately earning the Hall of Fame Award. In 2025 3rd place in Best-Data Board Contest.
OPPO-Zarraga continues to set the benchmark for excellence in data banking and mgt. by maintaining superior data accuracy, management and record-keeping system.
To highlight the hard word behind this achievement, we make sure the quality of data we produce by ensuring an almost zero-errors in our population figures. We make that our records are kept up to date and always easy to access by our stakeholders and the community as well. Such accomplishment would not be possible, were it not for the dedicated groundwork of our BSPOs who conduct thorough household mapping and surveys consistently every year.
By turning raw demographic data into accurate, actionable insights while maintaining strict data privacy, the Zarraga PPO continues to set the standard for population management in the Province of Iloilo.
